A Slap in the Face of Public Taste.... .....a zine in the making.On this here page we`ll try and feature some amazing bands currently(or in the past) cutting up the underground, from various scenes around the world.This section will hopefully bring you closer to some of the more exciting and criminally under-rated and overlooked bands in the D.I.Y. community. In 2002 their second album, All Fabulous things turn out to happen, was released on their own Free Dimension Records.Its a more mature affair, with expert musicmanship - definately a progressive leap in the bands career.But my heart stays with Timestorm....On the live front, they look to be keeping a low profile.I think the members are currently more focused on the record label and D.I.Y. collective, Free Dimension. The band are more focused these days on the other bands they`re involved with, namely High On Crime, which features 2 members of Kylesa.High on Crime are a must to check out.Like a more Scandi-core version of Seven Days of Samsara - its pretty damn heavy!Check out their site for MP3`s. band from Moscow, Russia who play a seriously violent and full throttel
brand of Power-violence.Mix in some crazy electronic sounds and some mad
samples and hey!..you`ve got a lethal & essential combination on your
hands!They released a cd(which is in the distro) on Retrothrasher - 22
minutes, total energy, mayhem and wacked out samples - a gem.

Tabor, Czech Republic.Waawe set a standard with the release of their debut
in 2000, Timestorm was the Signal, on Minority Records
& Silver Rocket.It remains in my all time Top 5 records since then
- no kidding, its damn good!The album is like a strange & wonderful
cross between Tristeza and the quite parts of Sonic Youth. Chilled out
grooves and sublime Saxaphone plus flutes blend into melodic rock that
catches you by surprise, destined to make your day.
